  • Condition: Preowned condition. I personally tested the unit with a DVD and was able to successfully duplicate the disk. The automatic load blank CD/DVD function and the eject into the attached tray function both work great, but these units do sometimes get finicky and may need to be restarted periodically. The plastic peg on the right to connect the clear protective disk cover is broken, see pics. I do have a video recording of the unit fully functioning, ripping a disk image to the hard drive, burning the disk and the automatic functions working, though eBay doesn't allow attachment of videos.

    Description

    I'm selling this Aleratec DVD/CD Roboracer SA - Stand Alone CD/DVD Dual Layer Disk Duplicator, Model Number 280112. This unit is used to duplicate CDs and DVDs without the need for a computer (though does also connect to computers via USB 2.0).
    Just load/burn a disk image into the built-in 320GB hard drive, fill the top with up to 100 blank CDs or DVDs, and set the machine to burn. You can even set up to burn multiple copies, and the unit automatically feeds blank disks into the burner, and then ejects finished disks into an attached tray. Writes DVDs at 20x speed, and CDs at 48x. It supports automatic duplication, featuring an integrated control panel for operation. The dual-layer DVD burner also supports CD burning.
    Includes Roboracer unit, plastic disk tray cover, removable disk tray catch, 4 plastic rods for guiding the blank disk stack, and AC adapter. I do have a video recording of the unit ripping a disk to the hard drive, burning the disk and the automatic functions working, though eBay doesn't allow attachment of videos.
