Offered here is a Fiberglass Hull and Arrangement plans
for the
USS Gearing DD-710 class Destroyer. This h
ull is a hand lay-up using polyester resin with 1 layer of 1-1/2 oz matt and 1 layer of 6 oz cloth with a white gel-coat finish.
This Hull is
48 3/8" long X
5"
wide and is trimmed to the sheer line.
This hull can be built up by the modeler to be either a Static or R/C operating model. Photos are file photos for my catalog.
Note: This is not a kit and the builder should have scratch building experience.
Fittings and scale weapons package is available separately from Scale Shipyard as well as scale running gear and Does Not come with this hull.
A superstructure kits is available and can be ordered from CNC Models
Photos were added to show a model that was built using my hull as well as a photo of the DD-710 in 1945.
