    Description

    Offered is the little Tin Novelty Radio Advertising Premium for the D J Kaufman Clothes Store from "Radio Joe".  The little box is tin constructed  with a spring-loaded rolled up sheet within-it resembles a 1920's table radio. The sheet within has spaces to note radio stations, station call letters and dial frequency numbers, time slots as well as notes or appointments.  The single Radio Joe entry is for 7:30pm, Wednesdays on WMAL, in the Washington, DC area.  Radio Joe was a local radio personality and D J Kaufman Clothing stores were sponsors. The sheet within is rolled onto a spring-loaded barrel and pulls out and retracts properly. The sheet is clean, there are no entries besides the RADIO JOE as noted above and it appears to be factory-stamped.  Made by the U O Colson Company of Paris, IL, USA in the 1920's. These advertising pieces are quite rare and nice ones seldom come up for bidding.  Pick this one up for your own collection.  NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking.
